Friday, January 25 We are no longer using GradeSource. Grades, testing, and e-mail is now available at http://lms.shastacollege.edu. You may have received an e-mail from the college explaining how to log in. We will go over this in detail in class. In class we were having difficulty viewing the Practice Quiz on the publisher's site. Use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer to solve this problem (Firefox is on the desktop). Standing Notice There are two new things on the schedule to make things easier for you: (1) at the top of the schedule there is a table with links to each week - so you don't have to scroll through the entire schedule; and (2) there is a link to the student data files in each section (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS, and POWERPOINT). Standing Notice If you have difficulty downloading the ShockWave Player (used for the on line practice exams) a possible problem is that the security settings on your browser are set at maximum and will not allow any downloads with potential virus issues (and all downloads pose a potential threat). In your browser click on Tools | Internet Options | Security Tab and lower the security setting. At one point my setting was so high I could not even open e-mail from students! Hope this helps. If you have done all of the right things and are still having trouble viewing the Practice Quiz, try using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer (go to http://www.firefox.com for the free download).
